Blog Entry: Do you think that gay marriage should be legal? Yes, and I don't think that the government should oversee things like this. Do you think that gays should be allowed to serve in the military? I think that if somebody likes my ass, they'll be more inclined to protect it. What do you think about people who don't believe in god? From where do these people get their evidence that God doesn't exist? At best, a scientist would say, "I don't know if God exists, but I'm going to find out." They would never say "God definitely doesn't exist" because it's impossible to find evidence that something doesn't exist. And certainty only comes from evidence. "Absence of evidence does not equal evidence of absence." Are you pro life or pro choice? Pro life. Unless the child is a product of rape. Do you think we should test on animals? As a scientist, I elevate animals used in testing to martyr status in the war for science. How do you feel about illegal immigration? Well, being a legal immigrant, I think we need to relax immigration laws a little, and speed them up a lot. I'll be more than happy to have Mexicans here, but only if they can do it legally. Do you think it is ethical to do stem cell research? I don't know enough about it to formulate an opinion. I wish numerous other people would say that too, and about a great many things. Should we get rid of the death penalty? Yes. There's only one person who gets to decide who lives and who dies, and He doesn't even live on this planet. Is torture ever acceptable? Never. A person will say anything to avoid extreme pain. Answers obtained upon pain of torture are suspect and should be treated that way. Should the government have a say on our diets? No. We need to be educated on better dietary choices, and stop making unhealthy food. Should the alcoholic drinking age be increased or decreased? We need to cure the cause. Stop making alcohol. Should cigarette smoking be banned? Same here. Stop growing tobacco. Problem solved.
