Mindless Rambling

Because I have time on my hands...

Have you ever noticed that very few people seem to understand the purpose of and/or how to negotiate a 4 way stop?  I wonder if this is the case in all countries or just in the USA.  This probably wouldn't bother me so much, but I go through 3 four way stops on my way to work.  Inevitably, you will pull up to a four way stop- the other three directions preceding you in getting there- and everyone just sits there and looks at each other.  I do NOT have the patience for this.  I will be the first to go out of turn and get through the stop.  Why don't people understand the 4 way stop??  Did you get there first? - good for you, it's your turn.  NOW GO.

Holy Mother of Helena my legs are sore from my workout... Has anyone else done the Insanity workout (or P90X for that matter)?  It's killer...

So I'm standing in Barnes and Noble, attempting to purchase a couple of books. There is a group of ladies in front of me in line - all of whom are a wee bit more than "pleasantly plump". One of the ladies is dressed in what can only be described as a brightly colored muu-muu. they are loudly chatting among themselves... As I attempt to ignore them, I tune in to the music playing in the background - it's a nice upbeat jazzy tune, and my foot starts tapping... Just then I look in front of me and the muu-muu lady is also enjoying the music. Only instead of tapping her foot, or quietly snapping her fingers, her considerable rear is bumping in time to the music. Each side, in turn, bouncing to the beat. Looked like a conga dance under that muu-muu... And it was like a train wreck - at one point I realized my eyes were glued to the woman's arse, but I was unable to look away - COMPLETELY transfixed by her buttocks' ability to keep time...

Four days - absolutely ZERO cigarettes!  And not much in the way of cravings either, which is nice.  I have been eating carrot sticks to take the place of the "hand to mouth" syndrome I created over such a long period of smoking.  Getting tired of carrots...

Planning a cruise for September - I think we are going to go to Cozumel and Progreso...  We've been to Cozumel before, it is lovely.  Anyone been to Progreso?  Thoughts on what to do there?

Is anyone going to see Snow White and the Huntsman tomorrow?  I want to see it, the previews looked good. Charlize Theron seems to play the Evil Queen quite well...

Did I mention I was just rambling...?  That being said, anyone who has made it this far in this blog - BRAVO TO YOU!!  My nonsensical ramblings are not that interesting, so you must not have much to do either...

Just got a phone call - apparently I have dinner with the in-laws...  yippee.... I LOVE last minute plans, especially when it involves the in-laws....

Ah well, work day is almost over, so this is where my rambling ends...

Back in Utah, we have roundabouts, and apparently people don't know how to negotiate them either. But then again, the stereotypical Utah driver is insane anyway.

Congrats on the four days! Make it another four!

Carrot sticks? Isn't that cannibalism?

We were going to go to Cozmuzel in January when we went out our cruise, and decided against it because sometimes its rough waters they can't get to port for the excurtions, so we opted to go to St Thomas and St Marten's instead. Maybe next time we will go. Where does your ship leave from. We are flying to Orlando and leaving from Port Canaveral. Cruise is $479 for just an interior room, and then I found a round trip ticket for $273. I am so excited and can't wait to go!!! First time on a cruise or plane.  Could make for an interesting trip huh?? LOL!
