Life This Evening i came across a site that upset me so very much, it’s called GodHatesGoths.com, it’s exactly what it says on the tin, another fundamentalist christian site against the "Tyranny of Satan and his influence in the gothic sub-culture"! it goes on to explain how anyone who listens to Metal and rock music (Most of my friends including myself) anyone who practices witchcraft or any form of paganism and atheism (Also many of my friends, mostly pagans and atheists) Are evil twisted "Human Excrement" who are completely maladjusted and cannot lead a normal life, and are obviously in some kind of shady dealings with the devil, BullShit! It goes on to explain how the devil is influencing people into doing things thru the medium of music, also BullShit! There is no devil, there is no god, only humanity and his ability to conjure up fear in the hearts of her fellow humans thru the lies and deceits of organised religion.
Furthermore, there were links to other articles on this site and they were named thusly, God Hates Harry Potter (LOLOL), God Hates Retards (This upset me greatly also, to think that someone could actually write a bigotted article about disabled people because they are not in "God’s image" is grotesque and shows that they cannot in any way bea complete human being!), and the final one that really got to me, God Hates Women (This one explains how 99.9999% of women are goin’ Straight to hell in a handbasket, isn’t that lovely? No!)
These articles were written by 2 Baptist ministers, who obviously do not believe in the (PROVEN) Theory of evolution!
i hate small mindedness, it is that bigottry that is holding humanity back, while people like these small minded arseholes exist, civilisation will never move forward and they will forever remain in the darkages of dogmatism and repression.
I just had to get that off my chest, it upset me so much that someone could actually have these views! =[ =[ and i know that more people like this exist, and i hate it so much!
