So in the end I didn't get that job, The department manager was adamant about using the high school education as an academic benchmark rather than the further education. This was in spite of the fact that the further education far outweighed the high school qualification, I spoke to the City council recruitment manager, and she agreed that this manager's recruitment practices fell short of how the council ideally recruited and it would be due for review as soon as this manager recruits again.
So on a lighter note, I have signed up for FaceBook and MySpace

So today I was again out in the garden - sadly two climbers I planted back in the early spring were effectively dead, I planted these just before the snow's came back in April so I think that the frost got them.
So that was the week that was for me - and I shall be very surprised if anybody can remember that show on here. Having said that there will probably be some youTube video's waiting for me in my inbox tomorrow morning
