Sometimes I hate people
Posted On 12/31/2008 03:56:52 by Lady_Rilwen

I hate coming here to find that there are people imposing their religions and morals over others. I hate seeing sexist remarks. Every time I see somebody preach that women should obey men, or that we should all be good little Christians, I start wishing it was possible to Force Choke people over the internet.

If I'm alienated here, of all places, among my fellow redheads, where is there left to go? Everywhere seems to have people I can't stand, just like the real world.

Oh, and one more thing. Not everywhere is America, not everywhere follows American laws and taboos and social structures. If you want to expect me to be just like your image of what everyone should be...Go die in a shoe.

*deep breath*Okay, I'm done.

As the old "Rush" song goes.....

"I shall chose a path that's clear...i will chose Freewill!"

A-freakin' MEN on this. I have always been a "live and let live" kind of person, and can never understand other people imposing their own "moral" beliefs on others. It's just not any of their business.

I always tend to see such people as having something really missing in their lives, that they feel compelled to try to squish others into their self-created pigeon holes.

Anyhoo, good blog :)

I'm at a loss of where you're finding people talking like this on here too, so I'd say there's plenty that don't.  I second debate is good too.

On a lighter note, I was reminded of a song my friend had (NSFW) on the album This Is Offensive, entitled "I Hate People (Because They Really Suck)."  It's actually quite catchy.

Not sure where you are coming from with woman should obey men.  Ive not seen that here anywhere.  In fact i havent seen any of that attitude for a very long time, is there a post that refers ?

Generalisations are a human way of dealing with a hugely complex world, your head would pop if you didnt generalise, at the same time though i think everyone accepts that every individual is different, whilst the generalisation can still hold true.
