Sounds like you have the musical gene, your parents into playing?

Goodnight, Alia, and I'm so so SO happy to have helped!

Hugs to you, sweety, and I'm here if you ever need me again.

Eek I'm tearing up, you're just a sweetpea!!

Sweet dreams, darlin!

01/13/2008 01:11:42

OMG you're so sweet!

I am a puppy-and-kitty-mommy, but no human kids, thus far.

I just always thought: EEK! What if I toilet train them wrong and end up with the next Dahmer on my hands!

Lol, I think too much.

But I would love to have had a kid just like you, HUGS! You boulder, for reals!

01/13/2008 00:39:33

Lol, I would happily take the blame for that!

(And fair enough, on not reading on the potty! heehee!)

01/13/2008 00:27:22

Yay on the feeling better!

Oh, no no no no no. Don't jump to 30! Either do 36 (a great age )or, like, 21!

I'd recommend 21. Your personality is already basically formed right now, but at 21, you'll be much more free.

You'll still probably feel super-screwed up at times (unless you're unlike ever other human), BUT you will have a lot more leeway to explore and learn and become the you you ultimately want to be.

And I recommend reading that book as soon as you can. TMI alert: I've found that the bathtub and the toilet are great places to read.

So what happened? you have me AND Jules listening to you. We can help! And we want to.

Nothing is pointless--well, ok, some things are--but nothing you're talking about is.

And thank you for YOUR kind words!

I love that you know that your hormones are effing with you! But it's also the formation of your personality, and you're going to be great.

And: YOU are the wise one! I'm just a nosey, uber-sensitive pontificator who kind of knows what you're going through and just really wants to help, cuz my teen years BIT the BIG one in the BAD way.

You're deeper than the average teen, Cutes (hell, deeper than the average person, period), and this bodes great things for you, and if I can do ANYthing to help you through, please know that I will.

And I see you like the movie White Oleander. I just finished re-reading the book and I really wish it had been written way back when I was 17. I think it has some fantastic lessons. Have you read it?

Did I send you an invite to the book club?

What are you feeling? Is all well with the family?

01/12/2008 23:56:45

Ok, I hate when "adults" tell "kids" that things will be ok, and don't worry so much, because I know that worry is part and parcel of the turf when you're a teenager.

All I can say is, keep your chin up, and look towards the future, and just realize, for real and for true, that EVERYthing passes. Nothing lasts forever, not the good, not the bad, not the moods, nothing.

So hang in there, ok?

(Yes, and I commented your blog, too.)

HUGS and more strength and a longview is what I'm sending you, Cutes.
