You've worked with autistic kids too? That's so strange, I've worked with 5 with varying degrees. 2 autistic, 2 with Aspbergers (spelling?), and one PDD-NOS, which is in the autism spectrum. I'm currently still working with one of them, 2 of them i worked with for 2 years, one for a year in cheerleading and one for just a few days but some of those times were the most trying but most rewarding experiences of my life. They are all so sweet and I honestly believe that they really do want to please us. It's great that you have that background in working with special needs kids since you're going into education. Some teachers, unfortunately, don't want to deal with 'them'.
You're very sweet, but there's really nothing to be jealous of, I'm just kind of trying to learn and get better, ya know? But I still can't paint what's in my head to save my life!
And sorry it took so long to get back to you, and I hope all is well!
