I grew up in Lauderdale by the Sea, Florida, about 600 feet from the beach. 86% of people in my area were over 65 years old so I was somewhat isolated from kid-culture, no one near my age lived nearby. I spent a lot of the time at the beach and a lot of time sailing. I practically grew up on sailboats. My dad was a dentist who used to sail the Caribbean doing dental work every once in a while to earn enough money to keep going. I have a knack for invention and pride myself in being a 21st Century Renaissance Man (I'm interested in everything and good at quite a bit of it. I'm often jumping around and combing fields).
