Back home, I'd always leave going to the doctor as a last resort. One reason being, my doctor had a tendency to grope me. And the other reason, I'm way too stubborn for my own good.

However, my mother and mema tag teamed me into forcing me to go to the doctor. And since it's free while I'm at OSU, I might as well go.

The doctor who ended up seeing me name is completely out of the ordinary. His name was Dr. Strange. Yes, that's right. None other than the superhero extraordinaire created by writer/editor Stan Lee and artist/co-plotter Steve Ditko.

Marvel comics rock... and my nerd factor has just been raised a level.

Anyhoodle, I have a sinus infection. Every year never fails to smite me with a sinus infection. Stupid sinuses... I hate thee.

And I totally will ask him those questions again if I ever go back to the doctor... and I happen to have him again.  It's the campus's infirmary.. so it's first come first serve, kinda thing.

Ever since I happened upon a gold tournie on TV wherein there was a golfer named "Strange," I have wanted to change my last name to that.

So very cool to find a doc with that name.

If and when you ever see him again, you HAVE to ask him those questions.

And major sympathy on the sinus infections. Only a migraine yields a worse headache. I get them periodically, chronically, and oftentimes they turn into bronchitis, which really bites the big one.

Good luck, and I hope it abates.

A sinus infection is a very good reason to go to the doctor.  I have a pretty interesting story about that from two years ago, but I'll save it for another day.  In short, it was the worst headache I've ever had in my life and it was the closest I've ever felt to death.... and I'm not excaggerating.  At all.  I've since had my tonsils removed (last year) and I haven't been sick since.

Soory about the doctors.  I never used to go unless I had no choice.  Now I have to go every 6 months since the thyroid condition.

 A lot of people have been using a neti pot to keep the nasal cavity clear.  I brought onea couple of months ago. When I use it, I do have a little bit of relief from my nighttime congestion. I bought it from Walgreens.  Just google neti pot and tons of info will come up.

Isn't it?  I had to hold back my comments and questions...

Like... "So, how does it feel to fight evil?"  But... I held it back since I had just met him.. thought it would have been rude.
