Not amused

Just when I quit being a slave my beloved job, my eyes get inflamed. Most of the time in the last days I was keepeing myself away from the computer, didn't read and couldn't even watch a movie. So it killed most of the fun. I was thinking it might have been the wrath of the ex-job.

And actually, it might have been. Something similar happened to me last year. I just finished my teaching practice under a real teacher... (Trunchbull, anyone?) Meaning she was anything but the ideal teacher, and she disapproved of me being nice to the students... figures...

Anyway, I wasn't allowed to get sick. She told me I was to drag myself in from my deathbed too... So my body was so high on immune system enhancers and vitamins and whatnot, that it did not recognize all the viruses flocking around. And when I took less vitamins after it was all over... It crashed down. I was sick for about a month. (There went Christmas and the New Year's eve...)

I only hope my eyes get better quick, because I really wanna read - now that I have time to do it.
