got a brand new thingie.

You can now earn points for referring new members. For each new member who signs up through your special referrer code or inputs your name when signing up, you'll get 10 points.

Not to say f**k blogging. but hey, new members is the bomb diggy, as they say in the industry. Or something like that.

You can find your referral code underneath the "ACCOUNT INFO / ACTIVITY" section on your main page. Mine, for example, is "http://www.redhedd.com/signup/friend_steve/"

whichis to say that if I were crazy like that and posted a myspace bulletin or some such wacky nonsense, I'd put my referrer code in the link, so that users who signed up under me would automatically give me the points.

Otherwise, if you just wanna be subtle, tell em 'Steve sent ya, or pootie or redmeat or redonthehead or whatever your crazy username. They'll have the opportunity to say it was you who sent'em when they sign up.
