Another bird..

My mum calls me this morning and asks if I'ma be home 'cause she's got an early Christmas present for me..

 

Turns out my early Christmas present was another green cheeked conure! And believe me, they're not cheap birds.

It's only been 8 days since we lost Cheeky so it's hard...but I must say it's nice to hear that cage rattling.. I'm so used to hearing it when I go into my bedroom that the quiet has just been sucking like a big sucking sucker suck. 

Needless to say, that was so farting awesome of my mom and I wuff her and yay.

Getting a new bird really will help. I got Shelby about 2 weeks after Holly died.  Shelby sure stopped my crying and helped me heal.  Best of luck with the new bird.
