My perfect hour

Millie and Arthour turned four weeks old yesterday and while that in itself is no real cause for celebration, it does mark the start of weaning for them - another bit of new teritory for both Molly, Felix and myself as neither of us has any real experience ah well, we'll have to wing it as usual.
This also marks a change in the kittens behaviour - they are begining to show some independance. Last night Molly, as she does, jumped onto the bed and called out to them to see if they wanted some attention, Millie just continued sleeping and Arthour ignored her. In fact, he walked round her and started playing with one of the toys I had left for both of them, both kittens have got their teeth over the last few days so are into biting everything - including me 
So anyway, once he had finished playing with the toy he decided that he wanted some attention. He walked to the edge of the bed - straight towards me. I went over to where he stood on the edge of the bed, still looking at me he stepped onto my hand, it was obvous that he wanted me to pick him up for a cuddle which I did.
And he cuddled me back.
There then followed what I can only describe as one of one of the most special hours of my life, I iknew why Molly has such a beatific look on her face when she spends time with them, for an hour we stood there, Arthour alternating between cuddling me, licking me purring and sleeping finally waking up around 10.30 last night feeling hungry.
