As a blogoholic, I know that not all of my blogs are going to be relevant to everyone. Hell, 99.5% of my blogs are probably completely IRrelevant to the majority of reds on here.
But I still have a right to blog my little red heart out, about whatever I desire, whenever I desire. And I expect that if someone thinks a blog o' mine is stupid or it doesn't "speak" to them, they'll just f.ucking ignore it.
That's what I do, when I see frivolous or otherwise irrelevant-to-me blogs (and believe me, I've seen a few).
I would never go out of my way to comment negatively on a blog. If I disagree, I say so, in a respectful way (hopefully).
And if the blog doesn't affect me or speak to something I'm interested in, I ignore it.
I think that within the confines of our little red world here, there needs to be basic respect and common decency when it comes to the way we treat each other.
NO ONE has the right to dis anyone else either IN or ABOUT their blogs.
No blog is more important than the one before, I don't care who you are or what you're writing about. Someone wants to share a joke and someone else wants to write a diatribe about a social issue? Both have their place and both should be respected.
And if someone really wants to start a discussion, well, that's what the forums are for, right?
Ok, just had to get that off my chest.
I'm actually shaking right now, I'm so furious at what I just saw, but I hope I was calm and rational, here.
