In response to the BLOG discussion that occurred last night
My dear friends,
All those that were involved in the discussion about RESPECT last night...I have no issue (right now) with the alleged negativity displayed on my blog last night. I said my peace and that's all I cared about.
I feel that I may have responded in a negative way but that was my initial reaction. Within the blogs there is a delete comment thing and had I really wanted to, I could have deleted the comment.
It's perfectly fine to tell me my blog is irrelevent, or hideous or idiotic or otherwise. I do not come on this site to be adorned with admiration but I have very specific friends that I speak to EVERYDAY whom I respect and admire.
All of redhedd.com has been supportive to me in my time of need. I blogged my little heart out yesterday and Brian is correct that I probably should have kept it to a minimum. I see his point; however, he should have messaged me. Alas, he is not on my friends list and cannot send me a separate message if he tried. So, he commented in a blog.
Brian is absolutely correct in his assumption that his blog might have had something more important to say than my frivolous attempts at attaining my goal of 2000 "ponts" points.
This was all in good fun.
So what if I stated that I am having a difficult time dealing with all of my emotions, this is life. I am sorry for the discussion that ensued after the fact but I also appreciate it because we all need to get along and respect each other. Otherwise where would Steve's vision for a "safe environment" for red heads be?
Thanks to every person who participated last night but I can defend myself on such issues. I have no known issues on the subject matter and I do believe that I already said my peace to the parties involved.
I am a pretty laid back person but when I get angry, I get angry...my initial reaction may be what it is and then if I take a few minutes or hours to let it all soak in, I have a different outlook on it.
So, as I see it - all parties involved have something significant to say. Next time, I will think twice or thrice before posting a blog and I should hope that others will think two or three times before posting anything.
The respect should start from the blog poster not the comment typer.
Thank you for reading my post.
