LATE START....

The kids had a late start this morning....this is not what I am furious about, I am quite glad actually because we have not had any thawing at all.

The reason I am blasted mad is because they didnt post it on the news website until 5 minutes AFTER the kids were suppose to be on the bus. (they get on the bus at 6:45am) I had them standing out there freezing there asses off waiting for it to come.

I watched both news stations and either of them listed it either. So I called the principal at home to complain. His responds was this....."We called it at 5:15am. I said well I was up at 530 looking on the web and watching the news, it never was annoucned on the news BTW!

He says will I know I saw it on one of the Omaha stations. Well helllo, we live 90 miles from Omaha....I can barely get it to come in for one, two I live 40 miles from Souix City, so I watch there news. This is also what was listed on the website to check for school closings/later starts.

Sometimes I think the school needs to pull there head out of there ass and THINK!!!!!

He said "I will do some checking and see" Yea you better do that...........geez!
