Any photographer should own every Life Years of Extraordinary Photography. It is amazing.

This is featured in the 70 year anniversary collection and is probably one of the most amazingly ironic pieces I have ever seen. It's taken in 1937 after the Louisville Flood. Photographer: Margaret Bourke-White
