Tim happened to be viewing a video online of the news covering "THE DEADLY ICE STORRRRMMMMMM!!! DOOM!" And
at first I was sugarting myself, my fear of the apocalypse and all,
because the newscaster said, "This could be the end of life as we know
it." So I'm all, holy sugar I better watch this. "....a
dozen people died. 19 states are supposed to be hit with an inch of
ice! Branches are falling on cars and homes everywhere." Okay, seriously, what a bunch of testosterone stunted wussbags. Try living right on the edge of Canada. In
98' we were hit with over 3 inches of ice, which then caused the river
to flood 16 feet, I believe the article said that I was just reading.
Over 1,000 people were without power for a month (there are about 6,500
civilians in Watertown now.) We didn't get it at our place for a month
and a half. Had to take showers at the elementary school. There
was a tree that fell so close to the side of the house whose wall I was
sleeping against that branches were poking through the window. I'm not
even kidding, I slept through that.
