I've know someone for awhile.a  She's older than me but I've discovered that I have feelings for her.  She's 12 years older than me.  She's always said she is too old for me.    But she always touches me.  I'm confused, i need help.  I don't know what to do.  Do i wait or do i make a move?

I will concurr with the wisdom-imparters below.

You are 31, you are a man, and you must follow your heart.

If you don't do it now, when will you?

As stated below, age is just a number, and with all the new stuff they have to determine a person's "real" age, well, it's almost not even a number anymore, but a state of mind.

She may be saying she's too old for you out of self-consciousness, so I say, sit here down, tell her what you feel, what you love about her, and what your intentions are.

Relationships are scary for almost all of us, but if you are feeling so strongly that she touches you, you OWE it to both of you to at least try.

Best of luck!

Always go with your true feelings. If she has feelings for you also the age will not matter.  If you don't at least give her a chance then you will never know what could have happen and you don't want to live with that.

Sorry, Im back. Talk to her. Tell her about your feelings. An older person has been through this stuff before and then the air will be clean. We all want to feel attractive and at the very least you will make her feel attractive to a younger man. Best case scenario.. you hit it off and  WOW.

The fact that she says she is too old for you proves that she is someone worth respecting. She would not want to be seen as a cradlerobber and as we get older we think of these things. She probably has her own social circle and peers and is most likely as afraid as you are. But there is not enough love in the world so I say go with your gut.

You can't go through life making excuses.  You may end up blowing off the love of your life simply because someone is hung up over age.  If you are destined to be together you will and if not well 'better to have loved and lost then to never to have loved at all'. (someone really smart once said that) Take a chance! Live!

people gravitate toward whoever they gravitate to for whatever reason. I've been out with girls way younger than me, way older than me & exactly my age. Age doesn't mean a thing......unless it's underage of course. Best thing to do really is to not get too emotionally involved 'til you know where you stand with her. Go ahead and make your move....life is too short, and besides, your move my very well reveal where you do stand with her. Good luck

love comes in all shapes and sizes. you can't control who it's with and where you're feelings go.

if it feels right, follow your heart and do what you gotta do !

good luck, i really hope everything works out for you. :)

You are old enough to know your heart.  Age is only a number once we are adults.  My Dad is 9 years older than my Mom and they have done fine together.  In fact, you don't even see the age difference.  My Mom was 21 and my Dad 30 when they got married.
