Parkour/Free Running
Posted On 02/27/2012 14:08:11 by hillaryperson
I have recently developed an obsession with parkour/free running. There is something beautiful and liberating about it. I am trying (albeit failing) to find an instructor nearby. Here, friends, for your enjoy:

I used to be Scotlands foremost free runner, but sadly I kept getting recurring twisted bollocks so I had to retire.

you dont need an instructor necessarily.  some of the best practitioners of our art are self taught. just put on some athletic shoes and some good running clothes and hit the city, get creative. start small and as you get better and your comfort zone gets larger you can do more. its kind of like art. except your painting the city with sick moves. nothing to it but to do it love!

I've wanted to try this myself. Then there was the unfortunate realization that I'm an old dude.

Wow, some seriously cool moves from this guy. Good luck Hillary, hope you are able to find something.

Yeah, it's pretty much the art of defying death. I think I'll practice with nets and mats, thank you. :)

This guy does a seriously good job but you would not want to make an error on some of his moves!
