I agree with you Halo. Regardless of whether one supports the war or not, we should support those who have to go over there. Unfortunately, I have to disagree with you ryeguy. Our ships, trucks, helos, subs and airplanes are all relatively old but the equipment the infantry has is top of line. They're also extremely well trained; not to mention the new tanks and apcs we have. The green uniforms that our troops were sent into Afghanistan with are CADPAT. It's the new digital camo design of which the american uniforms are based off of. They were only first introduced prior to 9/11 and the desert camo took longer to bring in. The american military had the same problem but they kept their old desert camo, we didn't. Just thought I'd clarify.

Its a tough war for us Canadian as well we are not even equipped to go into battle. We had green uniforms instead of light brown in the desert which our goverment said was ok we get recognized right away. And are equipment is way old and should not even be usable anymore but we do have a limited budget up here.

But what I have to say is we all wear red on Friday to show are support that is pretty cool
