SLACKER!

Ok, so I found my cds, and thanks to all who did NOT rip my ass for loving XTC (hehehehe).

Wow, this feels weird.

I feel like I've not blogged in forever.

And it's only been, what, a day?

Anyway, it's been really weird at work. I think I mentioned in my last missive that 4 people were fired when I was away from work all that time last week, then two more bit the proverbial dust on Tuesday.

The atmosphere is tense, to say the least. Most of us are convinced that they are looking for reasons to boot people, and as I'm (doggammit!!) not perfect, well, I'm nervous.

They offered a day off yesterday to people with "good attendance" and I was one of the lucky few. And you know what I did? I cleaned my desk out Weds eve, just in case I got the call on Thursday that my services were no longer needed.

So today was fun, with dragging all that crap back in (and yes, a huge relief).

Also, no word on the graphic design job for the library, but I do have some web and graphic work on the near horizon ("near" as in I should have done it tonight but guess who go too busy chatting?).

As I've mentioned before: I'm really bad at this whole "grown-up" thing.

It cramps my style, for reals.

Ok, so, pointless personified, but I just...had to get me toes damp again, so to speak.
