Screen Names and the Like
I have a long car ride home from work since moving in November. On these car rides, I very much pay attention to the road but in the process, I think of things such as cool a$$ screen names and bathrobes. Today, I thought, I would blog as soon as I walked in the door - so here I am blogging and since Steve is challenging top blogger status and I am only at #3 on the list, I have made it a point to blog 'til the cows come home because I can and will not allow Steve aka Eugene Crankyponts to surpass me. Wow, I didn't even take a breath whilst typing that last sentence! Soooooooooooo, *sigh*, there I am breathing. The point of my blog, oh yeah, screen names. In terms of screen names on this site - what is the all-time best screen name and why do you think it is great? I happen to love my screen name and will never in a million years change the got-damned thing. Though, I will share my story with you all. In my early twenties, my best friend Matthew, decided to call me Eunice Macgillicutty. I used to call his place of employment and ask that they page Eunice Macgillicutty, he would immediately pick up the phone and berate me. This was great fun! Nearly a year ago, I was sitting on myspace minding my own bidness and calculating my Ebay earnings for the prior year and I was so extremely ornary that the idea of being cranky was annoying the sh!t out of me. I kept telling my daughter that I was cranky and to change her pants because she had mud on them. Incidentally, the name Eunice Crankyponts (or pants, if you will) just popped in to my head and hence my screen name and poetry pseudonym. Not an overly interesting story. Nonetheless, it's a story behind the name so deal with it. And let the cranking begin. Next in line for a blog - the inner working of my mind.... You are all beloved to me even though I hate you....hehe Thanks for reading, I guess. Eunice Crankponts.
