Well so it seems that SO many people have ben blogging. Its been awhle since I have blogged something decent anyway.

I called today about a job doing some book keeping and being a "parts" person at a grasshopper dealer (lawn mowers) Have SOME general experience and that is about all. They would not even talk to me at all.

Go figure....if you have no experience, and me not much work history because I chose to RAISE my kids myself instead of letting a daycare do it, I can't get a fecking job.

I am a hard worker, for feck sake I worked my arse off during harvest....yea.

Anyway, I am looking and I will not settle for a shinolaty job like flippin burgers, feck that. Thats for high school kids.

I am MUCH better than that and I won't stoop there. If that makes me sound prissy then so what, if you know me and many do, I am FAR from prissy.

Flipping burgers is sounding pretty good to me right now.

I still think the cleaning biz is the way to go, but that's just me.

Keep your chin up, B, something will come along

It blows but lots of places are like that. Won't hire you without experience, but you can't get experienced, because no one will hire you without experience.

If you do a lot of farm work, I'd look into something where it would look good on an application; work that involves heavy lifting, or transport, or caring for animals, that type of thing.

And it's always good to exaggerate, maybe even lie a teenie bit, on your applications. Legally, the only thing they're allowed to ask your past employers is if you worked there and when. :)
