I generally am not a big fan of Shakespeare, but I have to say, truer words have never been spoken:
Blow, blow, thou winter wind Thou art not so unkind As man's ingratitude; Thy tooth is not so keen, Because thou art not seen, Although thy breath be rude.
Heigh-ho! sing, heigh-ho! unto the green holly: Most freindship if feigning, most loving mere folly: Then heigh-ho, the holly! This life is most jolly.
Freeze, freeze thou bitter sky, That does not bite so nigh As benefits forgot: Though thou the waters warp, Thy sting is not so sharp As a friend remembered not. Heigh-ho! sing, heigh-ho! unto the green holly: Most freindship if feigning, most loving mere folly: Then heigh-ho, the holly! This life is most jolly."
I've sort of realized today that I honestly don't really have any friends outside of redhedd. Why do people have to be such dicks?
Methinks the bard knew a thing or two...The world hath changed, but man has not, we are basically the same stuff, Hopes and dreams the same, unchanged in spirit, but needs must live in these devlish, but most divinely wondrous times. I marvel at it, and am astounded.
