Early autumn.
Sky is cleansed in gold.
The sun is immersed into the horizon.
The sun’s vapour corrodes the sky with a copper-rust.
Trees shed their scarlet scales.
Drifting, floating, trembling,
Onto her glistering, titan tresses.
As she sits in the complimenting surroundings
The wind silently removes the flattering flakes
Revealing her majestic, blazing locks.
While exposed to the rusting bench
The shimmering sky singes her ivory skin
Transforming her freckles into a bronze glisten.
While the external atmosphere flares with crimson
As does her internal being.
Her blood simmers in passion and exhilaration,
Her mind ignites in creativity,
Her heart fumes with excitement,
While her soul is a ruby, reflecting it’s own uniqueness.
Suddenly, like lava, she erupts into frustration
Her surroundings disappear into evening of ebony
Leaving her dark auburn hair as the only external remains of her raging ruby soul.
