Her teens were spent in a blur of drugs and sex. One day she "awoke" and found out the party was over. Her friends had gotten responsible;off to college, married, found good jobs. She met a older gentleman who was a gentle man. He didn't know of her past but wanted to get to know her better. She painted on a face of respectability and passed. She pushed down her true nature and pretended to be something that she wasn't; a lady. Time passed. They married. She was so afraid of this "grown up" thing that happened to her that she didn't even remember the vows. The wedding day was a complete blur. Afterwards, she left for awhile and cried at this thing she had done. She was just a sham, a farce. This was one of the reasons why she hated parts of her life and other parts were worth living.
