So, Frankles (the same said "Frankinscence" (sp) in this blog title) has really been blossoming into Dr. OMD-SWEETness and Mr. EvilSqueakyHilarity lately, and as I STILL can't freaking SLEEP (whine whine whine I'm ok now), and since he just made me jump a MILE when he tickled my butt through the chair just now to get me to scootch forward so he could sit behind me, well, I thought I'd catch all ya'll cat lovers up on him.
A) Somehow I blue-d him. Yee-up. Dunno how, but he spent several days with a rather large patch of a lovely shade of aguamarine pastel paint on his back, right above his shoulders. Really still not sure how it happened, cuz he doesn't sleep on his back, as a rule. Maybe I petted him with blue hands? I dunno, but it was funny.
B) The squeaking has lessened slightly, but he still talks to the windows and doors (he's convinced he's an outdoor cat, all evidence to the contrary).
C) Speaking of sneaking (I was, in my head), well, he HAS escaped a few more times, out back. He does the funniest thing: regardless of which back door he gets out of, he goes to seemingly pre-designated spots on the pavement and frantically rubs himself all over them. So frantically in fact that they looks like a little wiggle worm and I don't know HOW he thinks he's marking any kind of territory cuz he's not really rubbing long enough to dispense scent. Or maybe he is, what do I know?
D) Ya, nothing, is what, heehee.
E) When the dogs line up to go out, he's RIGHT THERE with them. He thinks he's a dog, I think. (I'm not anthropomorphizing, I'm caninopomorphizing, so there.)
F) When you throw a toy for one of the dogs, Frankie is the first one there. He doesn't pick them up unless they're small, and he doesn't fetch, but he loves to beat the dogs to the punch.
G) Why go AROUND the dogs when you can go UNDER, right?
H) He is SUCH a lovebunny with Dulci, and the poor dog has teeny little scabs all over her shoulders from all his love-kneading. He really...he almost looks like he's swimming, he kneads her so hard, and so directly from the shoulder. And the face he makes, well, your head would explode into candy (thanks Sinnie!).
I) He's huge now, and weighs about 7 lbs (it's all relative, shup), but somehow he can defy the laws of physics or hearing or vibration or whatever and sound like an entire herd of elephants, when he's tearing through the house. Add Zoey, at 5 lbs, and well, you've got a stampede, for reals.
J) He's been sleeping with me just a bit lately and a few times has crawled under the covers with me. He never stays long, but it's a sweet gesture on his part (ya, that WAS anthropomorphizing, sorreh).
K) What else? OH he's got this flomping thing he does. Shall I 'splain? M'kay. Well, he and Zoey have this kitty condo that is basically two tubes stacked on top of each other. He LOVES (seriously, he'll do it five or more times in a row) to try to get into the top tube from the top of the condo, and of course once the front is sort of in the tube, the butt falls off the condo all together and FLOMPS on the floor.
He's kind of a dork, really, and has never yet landed on his feet when falling.
He's also taken to sleeping in my closet (which is neither cute nor relevant but there you have it).
M'kay so that's the Haps with Frankinscense (seriously how do you spell that?) and I'm really gonna try to sleep again because my head is pretty much stuffed to bursting with metal cotton balls right now...
Meow, ya'll.
