Someone I know and LOVE dearly recently expressed amazement at my admission that I've cried over internet people, and verily have "fallen in love" with them, as well.
(He knows the feeling, trust me; he'd never admit it, but he does.)
Thing is, these are REAL people, online here. Well, at least a goodly portion of them are.
And once you get a little bit of online time under your proverbial belt, well, you start to get a sense of who is being "real" and who is, well, not.
And the "real" people? They exist! They're out there, just like I'M out HERE (OVER here? RIGHT here. Here. Whatever.), and, well, they're...um...real.
So of course people touch us, if we let them (minds OUTTA the gutter just this once, please), and so of COURSE some of us cry over them. When you feel something for someone; when emotion is involved; when you freaking CARE, of course you cry.
Or at least I do.
And it STILL hurts and sucks and blows and BITES when people you love and care about and feel a connection with just kind of disappear.
Always will, whether it's online or "IRL."
Sincerely,
Jules; QUEEN of the Superfluous BLOB (yes, "blob" cuz they ain't all "blogs")
K bye.
