Teasing/Bullying
Posted On 05/13/2008 13:01:36 by Sammie
Unfortunately, as much as I have tuaght my son to be chilled about his hair, a new boy at his school has got real attidude. For the 1st time in his short 10 Years he is being bullied about his colour hair. So far it really has only been teasing, which he handles well. But he has spoken to his teachers about the new boy and is not getting a fair response. I'm off to speak with the teachers after school tomorrow, any hints?

I WOULDNT BRING UP THE HAIR WITH THE TEACHERS.. I WOULD TEACH YOUR BOY HOW TO FIGHT SO HE CAN GIVE THE NEW KID A SLAP.....OR NOT EVERYBODY IS PERFECT YOUR BOY MAY BE ABLE TO FIND FAULT WITH THE NEW KID AND THEN BUG THE shiznit OUT OF HIM ABOUT IT... ETHIER WAY IT WILL STOP....ALSO MAKE SURE YOU ALWAYS TELL YOUR BOY HE IS SPECIAL BECAUSE HE HAS RED HAIR IF HE HEARS THIS  FROM YOU HE WILL KNOW.AND FEEL PROUD ABOUT IT AND NO WORDS WILL EVER GET HIM DOWN ..TO FEEL LUCKY AND SPECIAL SHOULD SHUT THE NEW KID UP

you'll never be able to protect him from the crap he will get for being different.  teach him to embrace it.

and teach him to tell them to go feck themselves.

Any bullying is bad. These teachers should put a stop to this instantly, you have all my thoughts tomorrow.

That usually only happened to me once....  Back in my day you could get in a fight and get away with it.  My first day at my new school in grade 5.  One guy said something about my hair and I kicked the S&^T out of the kid.  Never had a problem again.  Then highschool came and again, the first guy that said anything to me got a beating too and I never had a problem after that either.  Ahh the good old days when you could settle things yourself and there were concequences for people who F%$ked with a ginger!!!  Hope everything works out for the cute little man!!!
