Hope this is REAL enough...anyway

Yesterday ventured down to the River to check it out. While we were there we decided to check out our camping spot.

Then got a wild hair up our asses and decided to drive about 30 miles away to the river where some people we know were fishing. We sat there for awhile and talked with them. haha....one side of my face got sunburned but only my left cheek....yea that makes alot of sense.

I was standing next to my hubby and I heard the grass moving at my feet and I was looking down thinking what in the world.......then I saw it. But all I saw at first was the top half of its body...which looks just like a damn garder snake.....I scream and started backing up ready to run. It was a lizard looking thing. I don't know what the name of it was, but all I know is that it looked just like a garder snake with legs! AHHHHHHHHH!!!!

SO my hubby runs after it and picks it up. I was long gone by this time. I was sitting up on the tail gate of the pick up. Jon hands it off to someone else and I didn't realize at first that he did. SO I figured that it was safe enough to get off the tail gate thinking that Jon had it and he KNOWS better than to come within 20 feet of me with that damn thing. Well the other John that was there ended up having it and I was standing right next to him...he dropped it in the grass and I freaked the feck out.

It wasn't too long after that we left....that was just  too much.

Going camping next weekend. I am SO excited.  I am going today to finish up the rest of the shopping. The weather is suppose to cooperate. Its going to be in the 80's and maybe just storm one night that we are there, BUT I am not going to bet on that just because this is Nebraska and the weather changes SO fast in a blink of an eye.
