A poem for who?
Posted On 06/12/2008 02:35:46 by MarkLovesRed

A poem for who?

lime-blue milk,
lucid electric ocean.

I cryout for the sun to rise NOT

for i love your glowing somber soul,
you are where I baptize myself

anoint me

bless me to higher gods

Give me the cosmos

as my art gallery

and

I,

A child again.

Guys, thanks so much for your kind words about this poem. I live but a 100 paces to the ocean, its quiet waves I can hear, but can not see when I sleep at night when my window is open. Sometimes when I am all alone at night, I walk to the beach and sit before its waves, and when the  moon light shimmers over its living waters, or before the sun has risen, I feel connected to the cosmos.

This has grown on me, and I'm in serious danger of sounding like Jules.

But I like this.

This poem is according to me containing a wish of an eternal Childlike moment which has a begining but desires no end.yet i would like to know the one to whom it is adressed.

I hate to be all whatchamacallit, like, fawning, I think that's the word, but I had to tell you that I've read this FIVE times so far. Somehow it really touched me, and thank you for that.

This is amazing. I kind of don't have the words to describe, but it made me feel kind of...bittersweet and secret, if that makes sense.

Thanks so much for sharing this, it's lovely.
