The phoenix
Posted On 06/30/2008 23:37:13 by Matt_M

This was in response to deuce's poetry challenge on 06/30/2008 A.D. The underlined words were required ones and I was not too hot on the idea of enforced words. deuce is the poetry world's Hitler!!!!!! kidding....sorta

Please explain your confused feelings.

Toward poetry and its wretched "artistic" ceilings.

For a poem looks queer and trite when forced to steer away from it's divine right.

Forever I will stay.

This noble connection to mother freedom.

Her bosom our conception.

In thy passing I will not moan but mirth.

Your own rebirth you shall ignite like the mythological phoenix on it's very first electric night.

i have feelings of doubt as i roam into the moonlight
my connection with confusion is anything but false

my mind ingites with questions, cures, wars of ignorance
the mood in the air is electric

i explain my thoughts with no answers
your all lost in my fury

Ok, Esteban, this is great. I love it. It's poetry about poetry and it's very clever and cool
