I have some OCD quirks.  I have to have things in the refridge on certain shelves. If anyone puts something back in the wrong spot, I quickly move it.

I've become a real germ freak the last 5 years or so.  Every time I go to a store, I immediately use hand gel on my hands in the car.   When I get home if I sat down in a chair, I immediately take a shower and change my clothes.  Today for example, I had blood work for my thyroid, then I went grocery shopping. After having the blood work.....the hand gel goes on.  I go in the grocery store and come out and use the hand gel again.  Upon arriving home I immediately wash my hands and take off my jeans and t-shirt.  I put away all the food just wearing a bra and underwear.  Then I proceed to spray lysol on my purse and then wash my hands again.  The next step is to take a shower just to make sure there's no germs on me.  The clothes I wore to the lab are now in the washing machine.  Even being this nutty about germs I have a nasty cold.  I caught it over a week ago at the grocery store.  It's day 7 of the cold today.

For some reason I have to do washing up in a certain order, cutlery, plates, pans.. Oh and food shopping I stick to the same route everytime.

I never really had OCD problems until I married the compulsive hand washer.  It took him 1 hour in the shower, he would wash a part then wash his hands 5 times and so on.  He would even count the toilet paper squares to make sure he had 4, if he got 5 he would place it back on top of the roll so the next person to grab the paper, expecting to get more than just one would get just one.  Hated it!!  He drove me crazy!  Now I have a thing with public bathrooms, I can't leave a bathroom without using a paper towel to open the door, if I don't have one I wait or try to nudge it open.

Nikkii!!!!  HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a compulsive hand washer.  So much so that my hands are always dried out.  I started this after I caught the coxsackie virus from some scummy dirty person in my office.  I had the absolute worst sore throat I ever had - i could not talk, eat, swallow, high fevers, blister on my hands.  It SUCKED.

I have to agree that most of us all have there OCD quirks. I have a few of my own. I have a thing with cleaning. It has to be done just the way that I like it and if its not, I will do it over. I have a thing with germs and whenever I have to use a public bathroom, I have to use my foot to flush the toilet.I hate disorganized houses, ETC. I have SO many things that I could list that it would take me forever to type them all.

LOL vioplet you funny i love it... mine is that i brush my teeth like 4 times a day and i hawk loogies
