Posted On 09/12/2008 15:41:49 by lizziedrip

Its my friends birthday on Sunday, I have bought her a few presents, but I wanted to make her a present..

she LOVES BettyBoop, so I made this for her:(her names at the bottom, so dont worry about that :P lol)

Its a glass painting, that I painted on, and painted the frame! :D

can you tell me what you think? and if I should actually give it to her? ... if it looks silly or rubbish please do say ;)

Mmmm, is it shatterproof, could be a danger to small children, that's my only concern, otherwise it's fair dinkum

Yanno, you buy someone something because you think they will get use out of it, you make them something so they will remember you....

My boat was named Betty Boop when I bought it.     It came from Betty Boop Lane.... his wife was Betty.... they had Betty Boop ALL OVER...  sort of felt bad removing it but McMom did not like it.

Lizzie she will like it ...

Awww, it's a lovely card and I'm sure Sara would be delighted to get it - shows you care enough to actually make her a card.

Awwww... first off- of course it wouldn't be silly to give to her- you made it and that makes it so much more darling and dear than a store bought card! Not that they are not nice to get, but making one on your own is adorable :)! Secondly, it does not look like anything even close to rubbish... AT ALL!!! If i were to have attempted this there would be driblets all over of dried glue and icky smudge marks... I think it is lovely!

Good job LooWhoDriblyDew
