I wrote a song in my head
While holding you in my arms
Somehow it was lost while
Being in your charms
I should have wrote it down
And moved from our loving hold
Although
Doing so would have broke that moment
And left us cold
Only by heat
And not by souls
So I’ve written this instead
A tribute to that moment
As we lay there in bed
Our skin touching
Hearts beating
The hope that this moment
Should never end
