"She Likes It Rough"

Nope, knot a knotty (not a naughty) story.

This here's about little Zoey, the kitten, who was horrifically traumatized (by me) on her second day in my home, by some fly paper and TWO baths.

There was much growling and moaning and shivering and a lotta lotta hiding. And you should have seen HER!

Ha.

But I was seriously so upset over how her first few days were going--when her brother made himself right at home and was just happy as a clam--that I was treating her like a paper-thin china kitten.

Teeny little pets, baby voice, hardly touching her when I petted her. You get the idea. It's just, she was so tiny! And so so scared and freaked.

But she still didn't want me touching her. And god forbid I try and pick her up. And it didn't get better.

Wellsir, turns out she likes it rough. It finally dawned on me, after watching her kick her brother's (bigger) arse, that she wanted to be manhandled!

Now? Pull her tail a little, and she will purr like an evinrude. Scratch her shoulder blades so hard you almost knock her over? She knocks herSELF over and lays on your lap, upside down, wanting more!

Pat her sides and push her around, and she prances right back for more.

Now that I'm a little rough with her, she just loves me
