Yay for the postal system
|
A little snippet from my life.....
Early December I carefully selected some hand-made chocolates in a little chocolate shop in Seville, Spain, wrapped them up, took them to the post office, and sent them off, recorded delivery, as a little suprise present. Destination: America.
Over the ensuing weeks.....
"Have you checked your mail?"
"yeah"
"Anything in your mail box recently?"
"nope"
To cut a long story short, the wonderful American postal system never left an advice to collect to the deserving person in question. So, it headed it's way back across the Atlantic and guess what.....has arrived today just in time for Valentine's Day so I have received a gift from myself by post...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
