Any ideas as to the best sunscreen for redheads thats available? I think its stuff called P20 but Im not sure if its available in the States where most posters on here seem to be.

I burn very easily but one coat per day of P20 in Tunisia did the trick for me. No need to reapply after bathing either.

I've never heard of it.  sounds great though.  Does it leave you feeling all greasy?

I generally use neutrogena spf 55 but I'm no expert.  I just go for non-greasy and big numbers.

No the P20 doesnt leave you all greasy. Its dries in fairly quickly. One bad thing is it has a tendency to stain if it touches clothes before drying in properly. It stings if it touches cuts though.

I've heard of P20.  Meant to be very good, it's damned expensive though.

I used to use one specific kind by Ocean Potion. It was in a purple bottle, SPF 50 and protected against several different aspects of the suns rays and included several vitamins to keep your skin healthy and reverse any damage to it. Its not greasy and actually smells REALLY good (I have a thing against sunscreens that smell bad). The only thing - I've only been able to find it at Meijer and I think they stopped carrying it last summer, but I could be wrong. I stocked up on as much as I could, but I don't think it'll last me the summer.

I found that this one worked the best for me...

How about Bull frog sunblock? anyone have used this before? A friend told me it's a useful sunblock when going skiing or hiking.

Yep. P20 is the business.  One off application 30mins before you go out.  I don't use it on my face though.  I try & use a non pore blocking high spf. "Simple' do a good face one.  "Aloe Gator" spf 40+ gel is great for water sports & it doesn't sting when it's near your eyes, it isn't greasey either as it's a gel.
Main thing is to try & keep out of the sun-you don't want to end up looking like a raisin!
Pale & interesting rocks!
