In the profile settings there is a thing called SPF. Now what the hell is it?

I can't figure it out since I'm here. Just came to my mind, Sun Protection Filter?

I also think it's not such a bad idea if we could omit some of our details and leave them blank. I don't think it would do a harm if someone for example leaves the age blank and has an "ask me" option. "Preoccupation" seems a bit silly and redundant as that stuff we can write in the "about me" and "hobbies" sections.

Otherwise the design settings are very elaborated and give many options to play with, but that guide was necessary or I would be lost. Generally well done site.

SPF is sun protection factor. It's just the strength of the sunscreen you use.

Ok, but I couldn't figure it out for months. It came to my mind only as I started writing this question. I remember from times I used some cream, it just seemed odd to state it in my profile, even as the first and most important detail, plain crazy.

Hee hee, I think it's the humorous side of the site.  The MC1R gives us the ability to make vitamin-D from a trickle of UV photons, but even at moderate latitudes it just burns up our circuits.  Always in the back of a redhead's head.
