basically says it all.

Heehee.
Wasn't too busy today at ALL (end'o'summer and hence, summer vaca's and trips are winding down, so we're WAY less busy).
Lisa was in a fantastic story telling mood this morning and I swear, that chick can tell a story and a half. She's freaking HILARIOUS. She was entertaining me and Carrie and Andria most of the morning.
She's getting excited for her VERY well deserved vacation, and she was telling us all about this resort her and her bf go to every year.
Honest to DOG, I've never encountered anyone who works harder, who is more dedicated, who has SO much responsibility and who can remember so much, in my LIFE.
Almost everything I say to this woman I preface with "not to be a suck-up, but..." cuz honestly she blows my socks off.
I call her SOLL (I think I told you this before) for "Speed of Light Lisa."
Anywoooooooooooooooooooo, after she left, I had a nice, basically leisurely day.
I put four count em FOUR coats of primer on the front wall of the reception desk (painting myself a LOT in the process, because as we've established, I'M THREE
).
Got my files pulled, got my checkouts checked, never had a line, hardly broke a sweat and only got outta breath once, going up to bldg 3 to talk to Jeff.
Really just a nice mellow day.
OOO and BRUTUS came back!!
Man I'm in love with that puppyface. English Bulldog, only a year old, and still just growing like a weed. He's SO freakin' SWEET I can hardly stand it.
We also have this Aussie with us, who is a first time boarder (her mom sent SO many treats and chewies with her, lol, and all she wants to do is stand at the gate and watch the traffic and get pets). Definitely one of the sweetest dogs I've EVER encountered.
I mean, she's on PJ level, ya'll.
I even had time to go catting, and I carried Jack (that big white kitty with the striking green eyes who is *SOB* leaving us soon) around for quite awhile. He's the one who grooms you when you clean his kennel.
He also does it when you're carrying him around, lol.
Just a lovely cat, and his sister Tiger is also lovely, though a smidge less outgoing.
I freaking love Jack. I'm gonna miss him so much, but I'm so happy for his mommy, finally getting a permanent home here in Colorado :)
Duke the Best Dachsund EVER left the other day, but he's coming back in a few days. Can't get over the sweetness of that little dude.
HAROLD!! I didn't tell you guys about Harold!
Or maybe I did and forgot, but anyway.
He's called an Aussie, but he almost looks like a long haired Pharoah Hound. He's got the copper color and the stand up ears, and he's long and tall and lean and he's just The. Best. Dog.
Kennel techs all adore him too, cuz he gets along with EVERYBODY. Like, every dog in group play and every person.
Aside from the fact that I find it very fun to say "Harohhhhlllllllllld" (THREE!!), he's a really freaking GREAT dog.
Only 4,669 steps, and 2.210 miles today. Apparently 251.1 calories, though.
Wonder if that pedometer thingie works on the movement of my diaphram, to determine calorie expenditure.
That is, when I breath heavier, it knows I'm working harder?
Eh, anyway
