We have this lovely little Cattle Dog staying with us while his family buys a new house, and they're SO sweet, they come every other day to visit with him. We let them take him out to a grass yard and play ball and visit. They're so cute; didn't want him to think he'd been abandoned :)
So today I went out to check on them, and I greeted Leo thusly, "Hello, Gorgeous George!" ... for as those of us in the know, know, I yam a nicknamer.
SOOOoooo cute, Leo's little girl (she's about 10 or so, I think) says, "His name is Leo!"
I just giggled, and the mom said "it's a nickname, honey. It means she thinks he's gorgeous."
"Oh, ok."
I just hadda laugh.
Kids, ya know?
