My advice is to switch the vice. Now we here at the BDS loves our beer. But we realize that there are times when it would be inappropriate to be drunk. So in these tricky little situations we recommend MARIJUANA. That's right marijuana. The cure all to be all.

Hey kids love being messed up at work, but hate the taste of those mints that don't always mask it. Well try marijuana on for size sharpshooter. That's right you'll be the life of the break room with alittle bit of the ol' THC. Totally Hip Cat that is. Ha ha ha that's right just a little Marijuana and you'll be well on your way to that big promotion.

Yeah drinking isn't the answer. My father was a bad alcoholic. Drank around 30 beers a day. But after falling out of a ten year marriage it seemed the thing to do. I can honestly say i probably have drank more since July than i have in the other part of my life since i was 21.  But for some reason there isn't a genie in the bottom of those bottles either...

Honestly, I don't feel its good to drink when you're in a bad mood. I've found that alcohol only amplifies your mood...so if you're sad to begin with, and you start drinking, you'll be blubbering by the end of the night.

Did someone break up with you? Shall I beat her up for ya? :)

Yea well do what makes you forget the pain. If it means getting blasted drunk....yea whatever.

I don't get why this happens either. I mean how long does the alchol last? Maybe a few hours and the pain seems worse than it was before. I just say cry and be sad for a few days instead of developing an addiction that can ruin your life because alchol can do that

I agree with Jule, it is an attempt to dull the pain whether it be pain in ones heart or ones pride.  It seldom works.

I will have to agree in my situation. It was but it didn't seem to help. only brought about excessive spending,hangovers, I can't think of a good thing it led to.

I think it's a pain duller.

and also, it gives you attitude, and so for a little while you can be all "f.Uck her! (or him)"

That's what I think, anyway
