I have read a few messages here and there, and been asked a few questions by newbies who are having a little trouble either getting things like music players to work, or are a little lost when it comes to designing their pages, so I thought it might behoove us vets to he'p the bruthuhs (and sistuhs, of course) out.

Tip #1: if you want music on your page, try projectplaylist.com. It's seems to work the best (though it will sometimes switch YOUR playlist with other ones--just refresh the page when that happens).

You search for songs and add them, then use the "friendster" code (Brandi and a few others discovered this), to paste into one of the text boxes on your page.

That's all I have for now.

Please feel free to ask questions here, and also to just post tips and tricks you've come across, to help the new peeps get their redness on.

I have a good tip - if you want to have access to my profile - you cannot request it from the profile page because it is set to private - you must ask for it via blog -

 

Just kidding - well, not really but I am set to private for um - er privacy reasons.

 

I am more than willing to help in any way - but to request me as a friend go through my body-guard jules... hee hee.:) Or do as someone else did - post a public forum saying how wonderful it would be to have a friend like me.

Hooking your page up - hmm.. get a code on pyzam.com and copy/paste it to the bottom box on the profile setting page - once you copy the code, you can change the colors of the menus in the design your profile area....you actually have to pick the colors and then see if you like it -

 

For the music player, go to projectplaylist.com and add songs to a playlist that you want and then copy the code for friendster because that is the code that will work on this website. Sorry., I am having a hard time typing tonight....

Does the code used for graphics on myspace comments work here now? I know when I first joined it didn't work.  I made atempts to use the other code, but it never worked so I gave up.
