Ya know the movie Kindergarten cop?
I love that movie, and my favorite scene is where Ahnuld has a headache and that little kid says "maybe it's a tumor" and he says "It's NOTta TUMUH."
I say that ALL the time.
Which is kinda funny, cuz it turns out MY thing?
Yep, a TUMUH.
Apparently VERY rare, doc said he's only see 2 or 3 in his WHOLE career.
It's called a Proliferating Trichelemmal (sp, doctor's handwriting, donchaknow) Cyst, but it's actually classed a tumor.
He said that 90% of docs agree that it's just a tumor/cyst thing, weird only for the fact that it keeps growing.
He said the other 10% and a group of docs in New York think that it's a low-grade malignancy.
Apparently when they're excised and they come back, they tend to come back cancerous (but again, it's rare, like only 4-5%), so he told me to be VERY diligent on checking it and if I feel any bumpies or anything after it heals to get my arse back in there and then he proceeded to describe the HUGE strip of skin he'd be taking off, if it comes back, and gesturing a 10" by about 3" size scar.
So that's fun.
OH and I DID pop a stitch, and that little patch of skin died (more sexy, I must be driving you boys WILD by now) and that it will be ok, the scar will just be a little wider in that area. There was just a little (brace yourselves) pus, too, in that dead spot.
So got it cleaned and they put on a bandage that I'm supposed to be able to leave on (and even shower with!) til stitches come out next Monday.
It's SO itchy.
Yep.
