Okay guys, I have often thought about this.  Being from the US, where there may not be as many of us as in other places, why do people react to us in the ways that they do.  Well, I think it may have something to do with the use of red in nature.  Sometimes to lure pray, or ward off pray, red is a color that gets attention.  No other color has the power that red has, Firetrucks, stop signs and lights.  When we see red we are programed to have a reaction.

 

Plus we are the bomb...

 

Oh, and it is great to be amongst my people.. Just joined.

Yes, yes YES! Red is the color of BLOOD, and hence, LIFE. It's associated with both the heart, and royalty, with passion and power.

Most people have a visceral reaction to red, whether it's "just" the color or the wondrous and rare redHEDD. They just can't help it. It makes the blood boil, as blood calls to blood.

Or something like that.

Not to sound pedantic, but...

yellow is the colour used in nature as a warning.  For example, wasps/bees, those poisonous yellow frogs, the sun, monkey sick. 

However, red is the colour used by manking to denote danger.  Why is this?  Well, have you met Chuck Norris?  Of course not, you're still alive.
