I've always known that I was weird. I do think it started with my hair; I was always just naturally outside the group as a kid.
Also very thinky and wanting to spend more time alone than your average kid.
Which is not to say I wasn't social. I was, but even back then, people took a lot out of me.
So yes, being weird.
Aren't we all? To a certain extent?
I seem to only really and TRULY connect with the freakazoids (and that's a compliment, if you are a friend o' mine). They're just more interesting.
Weirdos tend to have much more open minds, be up for new experiences and open to new ideas and points of view.
At least that has been my experience.
I don't cotton to the completely close-minded (well, who does, except the other close-minded). I like people who find humor in weird things or who write interestingly or have a way with insults or who are creative.
I think most of us redheads are pretty freaking weird.
Also extremely creative and hilarious. Cuz, well, look around.
And Donna I think you're right. It's the FIREBRAIN! We tend to have different perceptions on some things (and obviously NOT the same as each other, either).
I do think it has a little bit of a relationship to being red. I have had people sign my yearbooks in school with something about me being weird. I take them out every once in a while an laugh. Weird is good though. Wo wants to be like everyone else.
"freakazoids", Your so funny!, I love freakazoid, it sounds whole lot more meatier, than my son saying "I've got a dizzy mum"! (all though secretly I love him saying that,,,,Shhh)
