i recently found out i have Ephelides... its a condition that, apparently, i was born with.... it is a somatic mutation in epidermal melanocytes that promotes increased melanogenesis. The condition is further complicated by excessive exposure to electromagnetic radiation and that i am too avoid exposure as a precaution.... and as of yet, there is no cure. this is a genetic condition and my children may possibly have it as well, although i have not seen any signs of it to date.
