I used to get that when I was younger; like I was diseased or something.  Dirty, old men were the worst.  "Are you "really" a redhead?" as if I didn't know what they wanted to see.

But what do you do? do you feed the stereotypical image these clowns have of redheads, or do you show them the kind of love that a redd can give?

However, I would start by showing them the kind of love a redd can give, then if they persist in being bozo's then bring on the redd.
