so I'm living in Edinburgh and being hot blooded I notice women, and red heads do stick out a bit, but there aren't as many as I'd of thought... So how does the red head to non red head ration balance out in where you're all from then?

Last year here in Hereford, there was like NO other redheads at all, but this year theyre popping up all over the place. Id say about 3 or 4 out of 100 people I see out n about are redds!

It's a function of where you live and how many people to which you are regularly exposed. If I go out three nights a week, each to a different city in the major metropolitan area in which I live, how many people might I see? Maybe five to ten thousand, at least? Since it appears I'm hardwired to notice and remember redheads, I should see at least a couple of hundred redheads. Alternatively, if I only go to work, I might only see a few hundred people a week, with a correspondingly smaller chance of seeing redheads.

I have noticed alot more reds in the past year or so also. I think it might be that I just notice them more now because I am am member of this site. I sctually look for reds now when I am out and about.

I can go a week and not notice any, then the full moon comes along and *bam* they're everywhere. Tho I suspect that's full moon hormones.
